Description Igroteco 900385 "Cuisenaire Rods" Educational Set, 56 Pieces

The mathematical educational set of wooden Cuisenaire rods (56 pcs + 10 double-sided task cards) is a versatile didactic material for developing children's mathematical abilities. They are called differently - a set of counting rods, "numbers in color", "colored rods", "colored numbers". The set consists of 56 wooden rods of 10 different colors, with a cross-section of 10x10 mm, which differ in length and color. Rods of the same length are made in the same color. The longer the rod, the greater the numerical value it represents - the smallest rod ("one") 10 mm long represents the digit 1, each subsequent one is 10 mm longer and represents the next ordinal digit: pink - digit 2 (20 mm), light blue - digit 3 (30 mm), etc. Each set includes 10 double-sided colored cards with tasks of three difficulty levels. Card size is 10x10 cm. Using the counting rods, the child quickly, visually, and through play, gains an understanding of basic mathematical patterns: - number and its composition - natural number sequence - forward and backward counting - quantities and concepts: greater than, less than, equal to, higher, lower, longer, shorter - orientation in a plane, right, left - addition, subtraction with rods - help in learning the multiplication table - visual demonstration of dividing a whole into parts. The rods are intended for play and learning with children aged 3-8 years at home and in preschools. Material: wood, certified water-based paints and varnishes, cardboard.
